How to Roast Marshmallows in a Toaster Oven
By Glare
Intro:
Everyone loves roasted marshmallows, but not everyone lives in a house with a fireplace, and not everyone can go out and start a fire for a few marshmallows, especially in the winter. One thing I've noticed though is that most people have toaster ovens in their homes, and that's why I've made this guide on roasting marshmallows in toaster ovens.
Be careful, and enjoy.
1. Aluminum Foil
The first thing that you do is grab a piece of aluminum foil, put it on top of the oven's plate, and lightly spray it with cooking oil so the marshmallows don't stick after you roast them.
2. Marshmallows
Place the marshmallows on the foiled plate, with each marhsmallow about an inch apart from the next marshmallow so they don't stick to each other, since marshmallows expand when they're cooked.
3. Toast
Place the plate with the parshmallows in the toaster oven. Set the oven to "broil" and leave the marshmallows in there for about 5 minutes, or if you prefered marshmallow color appears (golden, brown, etc.).
4. Roasted Marshmallows
When the marshmallows are done, take them out, and pick them off of a plate with a fork or a toothpick. Be careful, they're hot.
Either eat them on their own or make smores with chocolates and crackers.
Remember to enjoy!
